The last few years have been spent more in the role of entrepreneur and manager. I started this path as the office manager of an accounting office. The company offered services to foreign entrepreneurs in accounting, financial and taxation matters. Non-residents were also helped with all kinds of other business-related issues. There was a strong team of specialists who were also representatives of companies in Estonia. It was all a nice boutique company, but the small size was also a limiting factor for undertaking wider IT developments and system reorganisations. The foreign co-owner of the office at the time announced at one point that he would soon like to retire and withdraw from the entire business. Life had given itself the opportunity to set new goals and make reorganizations. The best way to do this seemed to be to join a larger accounting firm. Several service providers were visited, mapping suitable goals and opportunities for a common future.
