Why shouldn't office workers **take their vacations according to the weather**? If you managed to schedule your vacation when there were a few nicer days, you'll definitely get some work-related calls or emails. Of course, this causes you work-related stress, but **it's not easy for the person who took the call or sent the email either** – the "poor thing" is daydreaming in the office, looking out the window, wondering why his vacation companions were the rain and the slushy boy. However, if all such employees' vacations depended on the nice weather, then both parties would have enjoyed their well-deserved vacation days at the same time, without having to worry about disturbing others. If they took time off at the same time, **stress would be replaced by happy hormones** and everyone would have a nice time to continue working at a convenient time. Moreover, the work of an office worker in Estonia is increasingly moving towards the status of a virtual office, where the boundaries between vacation and working time are increasingly blurred. Why not speed up the process a little and make the most of these **few real summer days**? ## Vacationing in beautiful weather would also boost the Estonian economy. In addition, such an arrangement of things would also grow the Estonian economy at the expense of domestic tourism. Since **there are enough exciting activities in Estonia with pleasant weather** and if the Estonian weather really does not tolerate planning longer than a few days in advance, then there would be no reason for a person to vacation elsewhere. If you live in Italy, it is really not particularly difficult to combine vacation and beautiful weather. But in Estonia, where you can throw off your jacket/fur coat for a couple of days in July, it would be very reasonable and **actually, the employer does not need to worry** that someone will stay on vacation for too long. ## Adding spice with fun "out of office" messages If someone asks you when you’re going on vacation, wouldn’t it be cool to answer something like this – “well, in the summer when the average daily temperature is over 20 degrees and precipitation is under 10 millimeters and if it doesn’t get out of hand for days, I’ll go to Italy!”. Similarly, it would be cool to send something like this in response to work emails you receive during your vacation: - “**I’ll be back when the daily temperature is under 20 degrees**”. However, it’s worth being careful here, because according to Wikipedia, the average temperature in July is 18 degrees. - “**I’ll be back when the daily precipitation is over 10 mm per day**”. Incidentally, the Estonian record was measured in August 1987, when Haanja had as much as 148 mm of precipitation. However, the perception of beautiful weather can be very different and if someone claims that not everyone likes the heat, then you have to completely agree with them. But similar personalities were supposed to attract similar ones, and so this system could work the same way for those who prefer cooler autumn weather.
