In 2018, I completed the Executive MBA programme at EBS, which gave me an insight into the latest management approaches, presented by experts of international calibre. I received my higher business education from the Estonian Business School, but my first accounting diploma was awarded while I was still in the secondary school. I have also given lectures at EBS to MA students in International Business Administration.
I have worked as CEO at Grow since the founding of the company. I have also gained experience from Canada, working as a trainee in the audit company UHY LDMB Advisor.
I recharge my batteries by snowboarding, kitesurfing or jogging while listening to good music. I enjoy good company, irrespective of the location. I have travelled a lot over the years but nowadays I tend to prefer a calmer routine.
Over the years, I have studied information technology, business finances and business administration. In 2007, I received a Master’s degree in Business Finance and Accounting from the Tallinn University of Technology. I have worked in accounting since 2001 and have faced a variety of exciting challenges in this time.
I am always passionate and caring about my work, because I enjoy making our daily work processes more streamlined and efficient. I like helping others and finding solutions to problems.
I hope that accounting in the future will involve less ‘manual labour’ and more interconnected platforms and use of data in management processes. I believe that we are living at a very cool time when we have unending opportunities to learn and improve, create new solutions and upgrade outdated behaviour patterns.
I like to recharge my batteries by travelling – having snowboarding adventures in the mountains in the winter and discovering different European countries in my car in the summer. In fact, the exact destination is not that important. Naturally, I do all that with my friends and family! My eyes lit up at a chance to watch European movies, read books or have long conversations with interesting people about exciting ideas, relationships, history, etc.
I have acquired basic knowledge in the specialties of accounting and financial accounting from Tallinn University of Technology and have acquired a degree in business management. I started combining work in the field of accounting with my studies in 1992. From then on, I have been active in the financial sector in various positions from an accountant to the CEO of a company.
In my work, I constantly deal with many different clients and situations that need to be resolved. Searching for and finding smart solutions to non-standard situations makes work interesting for me and helps focus on the more important things.
The windy sea in the summertime and the snowy mountain slopes in the winter provide the opportunity to relinquish control and to be in the mercy of natural and gravitational forces.
I studied accounting at the Tallinn Commercial School and in 2002 I graduated from the Estonian Business School specialising in International Business Administration.
My accounting journey began in 1995 and I joined Grow in the late autumn of 2009. Working here has provided me with many opportunities to develop my abilities and, naturally, our great team and the wonderful view from the office window are important parts of the enjoyable working environment.
I spend my spare time with family and friends. I like tasty food from different world cuisines and love good movies, books and music. I enjoy skating, working in my garden, travelling and definitely also spring and the sun, as they always lift my mood.
My interest in accounting and numbers began when I was still in secondary school. After the school, I was enrolled in the Bachelor’s programme in Applied Economics at the Tallinn University of Technology.
I learned to appreciate teamwork in customer service jobs I was doing while studying, and travelling in the USA helped me grow as a person. I learned to stand up for myself, to take responsibility and to look for solutions instead of problems.
There is a spark of idealism inside me, which is why my work is a source of great pleasure – I can spend tireless hours working for the perfect result.
When I am not at work I enjoy… finishing up the work tasks that I did not complete during the day. After this is done (and peace of mind is achieved), I like spending time with my family and friends. My eyes lit up at good books, art films, candlelight and my pug Daniel.
I have graduated from the School of Business and Governance of the Tallinn University of Technology and have been working as an accountant since 1995. In my career, I have gained experience working both in small firms and large manufacturing enterprises. I joined the Grow team in 2008.
In my free time, I sometimes like to be alone, sometimes with family and sometimes with friends. With my family, we often relax by bog hiking and when I am alone I simply enjoy the moment. I like to read, preferably biographies, memoirs and popular science books. I love to go to the theatre and concerts, I enjoy everything from ballet to improvisational theatre. I listen to both classical and dance music.

Since then my life has been closely involved with accounting for more than 20 years, during which time I have worked in different companies – in an international wholesaler, in small businesses as well as in an accountancy office. My work experience and knowledge are supplemented by 6 years of work in the Tax and Customs Board in the field of exchange of international fiscal information.
I highly appreciate a good spirit of cooperation, a mutually supportive and helpful collective and a friendly atmosphere in the workplace. It is nice to see Grow promoting it in every way.

Grow Finance is a company with a very diverse range of clients and therefore it provides the opportunity to learn something new every day. Often, it is regarded that the accountant has a routine job and stereotypically is very tedious, but Grow’s women’s team does not support this claim because it will never be boring here.
Both individually and in a team, I have developed myself through engaging in fencing, to which I have contributed half of my life. Thanks to sports, it was possible to travel to a lot of different countries, and this is my passion even today. In addition, in my free time I like to play the piano and spend time with family and friends.
I acquired my professional qualifications at the Tallinn School of Economics and started working for an accounting firm while still studying. I was attracted to work there by the opportunity to learn from professionals and by the diverse client portfolio of the company.
